Traveling with Bestard, by Joaquín and Alicia
Traveling with Bestard, our best ally
Travel enriches us, it makes us grow and improve as people, when we travel to explore new canyons, caves or via ferratas we enjoy more hidden places, less crowded, places that in other types of trips are not enjoyed due to their inaccessibility or low tourist interest but that hide very interesting corners.
Joaquín and Alicia have been Bestard testers for more than 10 years, as nature enthusiasts, they dedicate all their free time to traveling to different corners of the world, exploring caves, canyons, via ferratas and any activity related to the mountains.

This summer they have visited several spots in Spain and France and share their experience and choice of Bestard footwear for each activity:
As professionals in canyoning and caving, it is in our role as instructors and guides with over 15 years of experience that we fully trust Bestard Canyons for these activities, tired of breaking mountain boots and other brands, what we like most about Bestard Canyons is their comfort, which allows us to do long descents or full days in caves, long approaches, the wonderful gaiter that prevents any kind of stone or dirt from entering the boot, their excellent grip, and what makes them special is their durability, especially knowing that our worn-out boots can be repaired and we can start new activities again with them.

For activities like via ferratas, via cordatas or equipped trails, we like to use the Bestard Croswave model, a light, versatile, very comfortable boot with excellent grip, offering great balance between feeling the terrain under your feet and the protection of a robust boot without being stiff or uncomfortable on long trails, rock descents, and mid-mountain terrain, even on days when speed or light-footedness is essential, undoubtedly a highly recommended boot.
For us it is very important to trust a brand like Bestard that takes professional feedback seriously, those of us who are in the mountains every day, and who often have insights that can help create safer products, making the activity more enjoyable.
